Join Lewis Katz and learn how to turn your images into beautiful prints worthy of framing and sharing with others!

Do you struggle to get your digital prints to match your monitor display?  In this class you will learn why this occurs as well as the information and knowledge you need  to properly print a digital image.

    Color management
    Monitor calibration
    ICC profiles
    Color space
    Soft proofing
    Types of photographic paper
    The importance of cropping
    Aspect ratio and its importance
    Resolution (ppi versus dpi)
    Black and white printing
    Printing from Lightroom Classic

  • Students will need a computer with a current version of Lightroom Classic.  

  • Even though this course is designed for Epson printers, photographers using other brands will learn about printing topics that are germane to all printers.

Lewis Katz

Lewis Katz is an experienced photographer and instructor based in Baltimore, MD.

He finds inspiration both in the classroom and out in the field shooting his adopted city of Baltimore.

Lewis also teaches at Johns Hopkins University as well as at Community College of Baltimore County and is a very active member of the Baltimore Camera Club.
