One on One Creative Photo Editing

Are you editing with Lightroom, Photoshop or Luminar, but not taking full advantage of all the creative tools available? Enjoy a one on one editing session via Zoom with instructor, Lori Lankford. Lori will work with you to determine when to add a creative element, what editing tools to use and how to apply them to create your vision.

Pre-requisites: Students should have a basic comfort level with one of the editing programs - Lightroom, Photoshop or Luminar.

Lori will show you how to maximize the tools available in your editing program to add creative elements to any photo.

Together we will review your images and explore how to add creativity to the image. We will walk through possible creative techniques in your editing program. You will edit live - learning the skills to use again and again. Techniques covered could include using filters, distort tools, textures, adding color or motion.

Sessions Content

This session includes one zoom meeting with the instructor to review 10 images using the editing software of your choice ( Lightroom, Photoshop or Luminar)

  • Lori will coordinate with the student scheduling availability and together, will work out a time that is most convenient for both parties (weekends and weekdays are options).

  • Students will submit 10 images to Lori using Dropbox, a link will be provided for this in the Welcome email.

  • Prerequisite - Students should have some familiarity the editing software prior to Zoom session.

Lori Lankford

Lori Lankford is photographer specializing in macro, flower and landscape photography. Her passion for photography began as a way to capture her personal travel adventures. Over the years she dived into the fine details of macro and flower photography. She loves to escape so deeply into the details of a tiny object.
Lori spends her free time in local gardens across the country shooting in the natural light and capturing its beauty.
Lori’s work has been exhibited in local and national gallery exhibits as well as in printed calendars and catalogs. She has a love for teaching and sharing her passion for nature and leads workshops in the Virginia/DC area.
