Advanced Creative Editing with Photoshop

Learn how to use the powerful editing tools within Photoshop to combine images in a creative way. In this 1.5 hour Zoom course will focus on creating composite images, focus stacking and the Pep Ventosa style of editing multiple images to create a masterpiece.

Prerequisite: A basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and using layers.

Course Content

This course is centered around a 2.5 hour live Zoom session. Students will get to practice the course concepts and follow along with the instructor. Videos and course material will be available for 60 days following the live session.

  • Explore composite photography and how to create a masterpiece from multiple images.

  • Discover the tools in photoshop to quickly focus stack images and blend images together.

  • Explore the shooting and editing style of the artist, Pep Ventosa. Students will explore blending 20 plus images together to create one cohesive final image.

Lori Lankford

Lori Lankford is photographer specializing in macro, flower and landscape photography. Her passion for photography began as a way to capture her personal travel adventures. Over the years she dived into the fine details of macro and flower photography. She loves to escape so deeply into the details of a tiny object.
Lori spends her free time in local gardens across the country shooting in the natural light and capturing its beauty.
Lori’s work has been exhibited in local and national gallery exhibits as well as in printed calendars and catalogs. She has a love for teaching and sharing her passion for nature and leads workshops in the Virginia/DC area.
