How it all works
Capital Photography Center offers in-person classes that are single sessions. They are taught in the Washington DC metro area. The classes are small, most are limited to just 8-10 students which allows plenty of individual attention and makes learning an enjoyable experience.
The Capital Photography Center Online courses are a virtual learning experience. Courses are a combination of content material, video, audio, live instructor sessions and instructor feedback. The class size will fluctuate based on the type of class. The online program allows student flexibility to learn the content from anywhere at any time.
Our online courses are a complete virtual learning experience. They are led by our professional photographer instructors and are offered as one individual course or multi-week courses. Once you register for the course you have access to the virtual content for 30-90 days after the course is completed (depending on the course). The content is a combination of PDF, audio instruction, and videos. Many classes also offer live virtual discussion with the instructor as well as weekly assignments with instructor feedback.
From the homepage of Capital Photography Center Online, click on My Dashboard in the menu bar to access all your courses.
Unfortunately, once you are registered for a course the content is shared and the courses are not refundable or transferable.
That is the great benefit of our online classroom. You have access to the learning content anytime - anywhere. Courses which offer live sessions will post when those are available and will record for students who cannot attend.
Each course will be available for 30-90 days after the course is completed (depending on the course).
