CPC Photo Community

July - December 2022



The CPC Photo Community is an online space for photographers to connect, share images, learn new skills, and stay inspired. Each month the community will have a photo shooting theme. The themes will be designed for any type of photographer and all skill levels.

The program will offer a monthly zoom session to explore the topic, an online space to share images and, two live photo walks in the DC/VA/MD area.

This community is for beginners to advanced photographers and all will benefit!

The second run of the community group will kickoff July of 2022 and run through December of 2022.

Live Zoom sessions will be the last Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:00 pm.

Program Content

All participants will have access to the online Community group, where you will receive the new themes each month, share your images, and gain feedback from the Community.

Each month, you will receive a new photo shooting theme to explore with the group. There will be one live zoom session to review the theme and share images.

In this Community, you need to shoot what you love! The Community is for all skill levels and will help each photographer grow and expand their skills.

  • Instructor Support: Each month a live zoom session led by instructor Lori Lankford. Guest photographers/instructors will join for some sessions.

  • Online Private Community: The course will have an online learning space to share images, ask questions and get instructor support.

  • Two photo walks will be offered between July - December 2022. These will be held in the DC/VA/MD area.

  • An online student showcase will be held in December to showcase student images.

Lori Lankford

Lori Lankford is photographer specializing in macro, flower and landscape photography. Her passion for photography began as a way to capture her personal travel adventures. Over the years she dived into the fine details of macro and flower photography. She loves to escape so deeply into the details of a tiny object.
Lori spends her free time in local gardens across the country shooting in the natural light and capturing its beauty.
Lori’s work has been exhibited in local and national gallery exhibits as well as in printed calendars and catalogs. She has a love for teaching and sharing her passion for nature and leads workshops in the Virginia/DC area.
