This course gives you the tools needed to add creative elements to your photos to make them standout. In this self paced course you will get to explore 8 different Photoshop techniques and tools. The course is full of detailed instruction and videos to make learning easy.

Course Content

This course includes 9 units that combine content, instructor audio and videos for each technique. The course offers 4 live video sessions with the instructor and weekly image review and feedback.

  • Unit 1: How to use the Liquify Filters

  • Unit 2: How to use the Distort Filters

  • Unit 3: All about editing with Textures

  • Unit 4: How to use the Blur Filters

  • Unit 5: Create Dancing Flowers and use the Clone Stamp Tool

  • Unit 6: Create painterly images with the Stylize Filters

  • Unit 7: Match Color from your favorite art work into your photos

  • Unit 8: Learn how to make Creative Overlays

  • Unit 9: Putting it all together

    You will get 9 lessons on the editing techniques with instructor audio. The content is available for 30 days after the course ends - so you can take your time to absorb and practice.

    You will have access to 16 videos that walk you through each technique.

  • Live Sessions

    This course offers 4 live video sessions with the instructor to review and demonstrate lessons. Students can also submit images weekly for feedback and critique.

Required Gear

What materials are needed for the course?

  • Adobe Photoshop Software ( 2019 or 2020 version)

  • A group of new or old photos that you can practice the editing techniques with.

Lori Lankford

Lori Lankford is photographer specializing in macro, flower and landscape photography. Her passion for photography began as a way to capture her personal travel adventures. Over the years she dived into the fine details of macro and flower photography. She loves to escape so deeply into the details of a tiny object.
Lori spends her free time in local gardens across the country shooting in the natural light and capturing its beauty.
Lori’s work has been exhibited in local and national gallery exhibits as well as in printed calendars and catalogs. She has a love for teaching and sharing her passion for nature and leads workshops in the Virginia/DC area.
