In this self-paced course learn how to use creative applications to enhance any type of photo. This course reviews 10 different iPad/iOS applications.


Pre-Requisites: It is recommended that you are familiar with other photo apps for the iPad or iPhone before taking this course. The Getting started in iPhone Photography would be a great course to start with.

Add creative elements to any photo with iPad and iOS applications!

This course gives you the tools needed to add creative elements to your photos to make them standout. In this self paced course you will get to explore 10 different applications. The course is full of detailed instruction and videos to make learning easy.

Course Content

This course is self paced and includes 12 units that combine content, instructor audio and videos for each application.

The content is available for 60 days - so you can take your time to absorb and practice.

  • Unit 1 and Unit 2: Superimpose and Distressed FX Application

  • Unit 3 and Unit 4: Waterlogue and Glaze Application

  • Unit 5 and Unit 6: Formulas Application and Lens Distortions

  • Unit 7 and Unit 8: Afterlight and Carbon Application

  • Unit 9 and Unit 10: Olli and Popsicolor Application

  • Unit 11 and Unit 12: Mextures Application/Putting it all together

Required Gear

What materials are needed for the class?

Lori Lankford

Lori Lankford is photographer specializing in macro, flower and landscape photography. Her passion for photography began as a way to capture her personal travel adventures. Over the years she dived into the fine details of macro and flower photography. She loves to escape so deeply into the details of a tiny object.
Lori spends her free time in local gardens across the country shooting in the natural light and capturing its beauty.
Lori’s work has been exhibited in local and national gallery exhibits as well as in printed calendars and catalogs. She has a love for teaching and sharing her passion for nature and leads workshops in the Virginia/DC area.
