Course Content

Students will meet with the instructor four times for a 60 minute live session via Zoom to cover the material, ask questions, review content and provide demonstration. Students will also have access to submit questions and get feedback within 24 hours.

Also includes video demonstration of just about every tool in the Develop module and course notes as a PDF.

Course content is available for 90 days.

The class videos can be reviewed and played back as many times as you like during the 30 day class time and for 60 days following the class.

  • Lesson 2: The Clone, Heal and Content Aware Fill tools

  • Lesson 3: The Basics Panel tools

  • Lesson 4: The HSL/Color/BW Panel

  • Lesson 5: The Detail Panel & The Lens Correction Panel

  • Lesson 6: The Crop Tool & The Transform Panel

  • Lesson 7: The Mask Tools

  • Lesson 8: The Presets Panel

  • Lesson 9: Exporting the edited version to share

Required Gear

What materials will you need for this class?

  • A computer with Adobe Lightroom Classic installed

  • Images will be supplied from the instructor via a dropbox link

Marie Joabar

Drawing on more than 12 years experience as the Corporate Trainer and Education Programs Manager for one of the Washington DC area’s leading camera retailers, Marie Joabar founded Capital Photography Center in January 2012.
With a talented staff of instructors and a wide variety of classes, its mission is to help those with a love of photography grow their passion and reach their goals - be it to capture better snapshots or become a professional photographer.
As an instructor herself, Marie finds just the right way to take complicated concepts and technology, and break the information down into easy-to-understand nuggets to share with others.
