Course Description

This course is taught via two live zoom sessions.

Photography can be a meditative process, and by bringing an intentional mindfulness to everyday subjects we can explore the inner life of those subjects and of ourselves.

Blending concepts of Zen, Vipassana, and other contemplative traditions with the art of photography, in this class we’ll combine mindfulness practices with exercises in seeing.

Through these practices and exercises, and some brief forays into post-processing, we can come to know ourselves better while finding interest in even the most mundane subjects.
