March 18 - April 22
This course offers six interactive zoom sessions. Emily will guide you through the aspects and features of what makes an image stand out from all the rest and gain acceptance in juried art exhibits.
Students will submit images for review and Emily will conduct this using Lightroom. She may at times briefly demonstrate with additional editing programs such as; Topaz Studio 2, Nik Collection and Luminar 4. (Students are not required to have this software, if Emily demonstrates with them, it would be as an overview, not an in-depth tutorial.)
Covering two elements of a gallery worthy image each week, topics include:
Image Impact
Clarity of Subject
Individual Style
Printing Your Work
Presentation Considerations
And Much More
What materials are needed for this class?
Emily will be using Lightroom Classic, it would be helpful if you had a basic understanding of this program.
Although any camera will do, the best options will be cameras that allow one to control exposure such as most DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.
